Employee of the Month

Dr. Einstein

::This day we gather on the warship of warburg, it feels as if a thousand hidden eyes are staring::

::Bolt Crank steps out of the helicopter, his attention seems drawn to something in the city:: "Ahem, we are here to acknowledge this day, another pheonomenal hero. That of Emily Crenshaw. I still remember Dr. Einstien bringing her to our museum, she was a smart ass then as well. Truth be told, Emily has done more for our department and our city than many heros could ever hope of accomplishing."

"Her tale, is one i'm sure you will all enjoy, so without further ado..."

::A hologram on the boat lights up::

Being the single child of billionaire parents was surprisingly rough for young Emily Crenshaw. Instead of traveling to exotic islands, buying amusement parks, and having endangered species as pets, Emily had almost no possessions and rarely was allowed to leave the Crenshaw estate. Her life was, in a word, hell.

Emily finally experienced a glimpse of normal life when she was allowed to attend public high school. However, this too proved unenjoyable as she struggled to gain friendships and constantly quarreled with her teachers. She was, as her principal once put it, a cold-hearted bitch. Needless to say, Emily's stay at the school was short-lived. During her Junior year, Milton Chalmers (starting quarterback and son of Superintendent Chalmers) decided to break social norms and speak to Emily. He thought it funny to ridicule her clothing, and Emily thought it equally funny to break his jaw with a brick. She was expelled the next day.

Dreaded of starting home-schooling again, Emily decided it best to leave her hometown all together. Fortunately, the Carnival of Shadows was in-town and looking for an additional performer. Seizing the oppurtunity, Emily became a sword swallower and began life on the road.

The next few years went relatively smoothly, and Emily became somewhat of a sensation. Her delicately controlled gag reflex and seduceful swordsmanship combined to form what some would call the most voluptuous performance in the history of Carnival (narrowly beating out Bearded-woman mud wrestling). One day while visiting Paragon City, Emily's perfomance was visited by a group of students from the Paragon University Archeology Department. It was here she met the only friend she as ever had, a yeasty-looking gal named Angel.

Following the performance, the two began talking (read: bickering) and Emily was persuaded into leaving the Carnival and joining the PUAD as an intern for the infamous Bolt Crank. The allure of being ordered around by a giant golem beast was simply to appealing. So, Emily moved into the PUAD dorm houses with Angel and began her work as a bottom-of-the-foodchain intern.

As roomates, Angel and Emily spent countless hours playing card games, watching movies, and of course, cat-fighting. The two were inseparable to say the least, often leaving on week-long 'vacations' without so much of a day's notice. Rumors of lesbianism between the two flooded PU campus, but were never verified by either of them. What was clear however, was the presence of an intense friendship unequaled in all of Paragon. Truly unfortunate however, is the bizarre effect the years of friendship had on Emily's body.

After being destroyed by Emily in a game of Go (for about the 57th time in a row), Angel lunged at her opponent and literally attempted to gouge her eyes out from her skull. She nearly succeeded, but only because Emily was in a state of shock and bewilderment. The reason: she could feel no pain, whatsoever. It didn't matter how deep the pristine nails dug into her flesh, there was no sense of feeling at all.

It turns out, Angel emits a small amount of radiation from her body. Over the years, the discharge had eaten away Emily's nervous system to the remarkable threshold between pain and pleasure. This means Emily is perfectly capable of feeling everyday sensations, but is not afflicted by anything considered unpleasurable.

Quick to take advantage of such a remarkable mutation, Emily now spends her time leaping off buildings and combating the villainous faction of Paragon City. After learning to develop and control her own biological oddity, Angel fights alongside her friend and together they stand toe-to-toe with some of the city's most wicked foes. As for the ongoing quarrels between themselves, the seemingly consience-free and EBIL Angel rarely loses, despite being physically inferior (in more ways than one).

Emily Crenshaws personal space

Hobbies: alligator wrestling, base jumping, walking on hot coals

Turn ons: bare feet, cutting sense of humor, stimulating conversation

Turn offs: being ignored, bad breath, stupidity

Most embarassing moment: dying to the hands of Rikti monkeys just minutes after ridiculing another for the same thing (a defender no less)
