The incident occured in 1990, when Eddie Masterson was only a boy.
He was climbing the rope in gym class when his body exploded into a
beautiful Nova of colors
They searched for him for 6 days, across 3 states...He was presumed dead.
Many years later, Masterson was able to recompose his molecules in what
used to be the gym of his junior high. Unfortunately for him, it had
become a drug trafficking center for the Skulls gang. He found himself
fending them off, powering his fists with blinding energy. From that
moment forward, Masterson knew he could no longer go back to his old life.
It was time for a new beginning; the world was about the meet the Molecule
Misfit!
After a succesful crime fighting career, Misfit began to long for the
things he had missed - he had never actually had any formal education past
the 8th grade! He re-adopted his Eddie Masterson alias, and enrolled at
Paragon University. He joined the Archaeology department, assuming that
would be the most beneficial outlet for his crime fighting skills.
And so he begins anew, fighting to save his beloved Paragon City alongside
his friends and fellow archaelogists.
