Lets learn a little about you shall we?" ::The projector screen lights up:: Twenty years ago, a young Pyroclastic was vacationing in Hawaii with his parents. While exploring a presumably safe lava field, he fell through the weakened crust of an active lava tube. Before his parents could even react, a hero dropped from the sky, pulled him out of the molten rock, and healed him before flying away without a word. The child survived, but the mystical healing did not save him from extensive muscle damage and scarring, which covers 95% of his body. As he grew, surgeries to repair his body steadily became more advanced, and eventually granted him a completely normal life. However, a normal life wasn't what he wanted. Inspired by the hero who saved him, he modified the implants that restored his body, and took on the monkier of Pyroclastic. Originally a member of The Cabal supergroup, he parted ways when its founding members retired or left Paragon City. While seeking more education, adventure, and chances to save the world, Pyroclastic enrolled in Paragon University. Figuring that the Math Department wouldn't be fighting extra-dimensional beings, that the Engineering Department spends more time fixing what superbeings destroy than anything else, and that the Experimental Physics Department had a habit of disappearing from the face of the planet every few months, Archeology would be a sane, but still adventurous choice.
